Refund policy

We want you to feel confident using your dry bag and standing behind it in real-world conditions.

 

Returns

You may request a return within 30 days of delivery.


Dry bags may be used and tested as intended. However, to be eligible for a return or refund:

  • The bag must not show damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper handling
  • Damage from sharp objects, punctures, cuts, burns, or excessive abrasion is not covered
  • The bag must not be altered or intentionally damaged

Normal wear from reasonable use or testing is acceptable.

 

Waterproof Performance

This is a waterproof dry bag, designed to protect contents from water — including rain, splashes, and full submersion — when used properly.


To maintain waterproof performance:

  • The top must be rolled at least 3 full turns before buckling
  • The bag should not be overfilled, which may prevent a proper seal
  • Avoid contact with sharp or pointed objects inside or outside the bag

Water intrusion or damage caused by improper sealing, overloading, or misuse is not covered under our return or refund policy.


Damaged or Defective Items

If your dry bag fails due to a manufacturing defect (such as seam failure, buckle failure, or material defect) within 30 days, we will provide a replacement or full refund.


Please contact us with:

  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos or video showing the problem


Incorrect Orders

If you received the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery, and we’ll correct it at no cost to you.

 

Refunds

Once your return is approved and inspected:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Processing typically takes 5–10 business days
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable


Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective or incorrect.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service.


2-Year Limited Warranty (DriftPak Guarantee)

At DriftPak, we stand behind the quality and performance of our products. All DriftPak dry bags are covered by a 2-Year Limited Warranty from the original date of purchase.

This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from www.driftpak.com or from an authorized DriftPak retailer.


What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use, including but not limited to:

  • Defects in seams or seam bonding

  • Failure of welded or stitched areas

  • Defective buckles, clips, or attachment points

  • Manufacturing flaws in the waterproof fabric

  • Waterproof failure caused by a manufacturing defect (not user error)

If a defect covered by this warranty occurs within two (2) years of purchase, DriftPak will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product

  • Replace the product with the same or comparable model

  • Issue a refund or store credit if a replacement is not available


What This Warranty Does NOT Cover

This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:

  • Improper use or misuse of the product

  • Failure to properly roll, seal, or close the bag

  • Normal wear and tear (including abrasion, fading, or cosmetic damage)

  • Cuts, punctures, burns, or tears caused by sharp objects or impacts

  • Exposure to chemicals, solvents, or extreme heat

  • Modifications or repairs not performed or authorized by DriftPak

  • Accidental damage, loss, or theft

  • Water intrusion caused by overfilling or improper sealing

Waterproof bags require proper closure to function as intended. Damage or water intrusion caused by incorrect use is not considered a manufacturing defect.


Proof of Purchase

All warranty claims require proof of purchase, such as:

  • Order number

  • Receipt

  • Confirmation email

The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.


How to Make a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us at:

Include the following:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos or videos showing the defect or failure

Our team will review your claim and may request additional information before determining eligibility.


Shipping & Handling for Warranty Claims

If a return is required for inspection:

  • Customers may be responsible for shipping the product to DriftPak

  • DriftPak will cover the cost of shipping a replacement product back to you, if applicable

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.


Limitations of Liability

This warranty is limited to the remedies stated above. DriftPak is not responsible for:

  • Damage to personal property or contents stored inside the bag

  • Incidental or consequential damages

  • Loss of use, time, or enjoyment

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.


Your Legal Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state, province, or country.


Returns vs Warranty Claims

Returns for unused products are handled under our Refund & Return Policy.
Defective or failed products within the 2-year coverage period are handled under this Warranty Policy.

 

Final Sale Items

 

Items marked Final Sale are not eligible for return or refund.
